About Manhattn’s

On May 24, 1626, the Belgian Director of the Dutch colony Nova Belgica, Peter Minuit, purchased the island of Mannahatta from the Native American Lenape people for 24$.

In 2011 a Belgian New Yorker starts selling Belgian waffles and other typical Belgian products in the streets of Manhattan. In 2013 the Vandermeulen Brothers wanted to bring the entertaining and enchanting New York experience to the world, starting in their country of origin: Belgium. On October 22nd 2014, Manhattn’s opened its doors for the first time on 164 Avenue Louise. Amidst skyscrapers and the busy Place Stephanie, this famous Belgian avenue makes you feel like a New Yorker.
